Jules, I love the way these paintings seem to glow. The way Monet uses light and color is definately something I want to have filter into my thinking/working process. Light becomes not a passing expendable element, but that which encompasses material presence. One feels that one could reach out and grab onto the atmosphere like butter on a hot day.(I know that sounds a little weird, but its the only way I could think to describe my experience of those works.)Thanks for showing these to me!
