Jules, There is something very grounded about Winsor's work. Something that keeps pulling you back to the stillness of yourself. Maybe its the rugged materials. Maybe it is the process in which the forms were made. Maybe its the bareness in the forms themselves (I use bareness in place of the word "simplistic" because I do not feel the word does the work justice). I think the importance of the materiality in Winsor's work could really tie in with the latex, string and rubber materials you have been using. Thanks Jules for sharing this with us.
